João Paulo Mendes Neto

Profile and Trajectory

Partner in the tax area with experience in various sectors of the economy, working on strategic advisory and litigation matters, with emphasis on preventive law, tax planning and federal taxes. He is responsible for managing cases, preparing legal theses and solutions customized to the needs of the client and their sector. He has over 10 years of experience as a lawyer and is a professor of Tax Law at the Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará (CESUPA) in undergraduate and graduate courses. He is the coordinator of the lato sensu postgraduate course in Law at the same institution, in addition to being the author of several publications and a guest professor at important institutions.

  • Postgraduate degree in Tax Law from a Constitutional perspective from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), in 2011.

  • Master in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), in 2013.
  • PhD in Constitutional Tax Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).
